Here, at the Australian Technical College - Western Sydney, we help and encourage your child in so many ways.  This care and support is particularly important when you consider that, on average accross Australia, only 45% of apprentices complete their apprenticeships.  The academic work done in Yrs 11 and 12, particularly in the areas of literacy and numeracy – will support the students in the more complex areas of trade training in the 2nd and 3rd years of their apprenticeships after they leave school.

Further education opportunities also open up with the possibility of mature age entry to university when the apprenticeship ends at age 21.

Most importantly, with the aid of our industry partners and sponsors we are able to arrange apprenticeships in fields as varied as Building & Construction, Electro-technology, Automotive, and Commercial Cookery.
