Open Day

Before our move to our brand new site at Glenwood before Term 2, we'll be having an Open Day at our Kings Park campus. On show will be some of our trade training facilities including our Electrotechnology and Automotive workshops. Visitors will be able to see some of the things a student can do at the College. Visitors are welcome to come for the day or to come for a quick tour if they prefer. For more information please call us at the College on 9851 8888.

Adrian Grima Wins Award!

Year 12 student Adrian Grima has won the Automotive Training Board's School Based Apprentice of the Year for NSW.
In a ceremony held on the 19th of November in Sydney, Adrian received the award from the Hon. Virginia Judge MP, Minister for Fair Trading. This is the third consecutive year that a ATCWS student has won this prestigious award. Congratulations to Adrian!

NSW State Training Award Winners

STUDENTS WIN AWARDS

On Friday 9^th of July, three of ATCWS Year 12 students attended the Regional State Training Awards after being nominated due to excellence in their trades. All three students, Lachlan Gorst, Joel Kirkness and Tim Jones won their school-based apprentice of the year in their trade categories. Lachlan, an electrician, came home a big winner on the night after winning the overall award of School-based Apprentice of the Year Western Sydney, with both Joel and Tim also being finalists. Congratulations to all three students for their hard work and achievement.

Courses set to start at TechWest Sydney

The first of TechWest Sydney's courses are set to commence July 19th, coinciding with the start of ATCWS Term 2. Courses starting in this round include Certificate II in Business, Certificate II in Information Technology, Certificate III in Frontline Management and Certificate III in Occupational Health and Safety. A number of OH&S Induction (White Card) and First Aid are also available to join or can be taught according to your desires.

Moving to Glenwood in 2011

In 2011, the College will be moving to a brand new site at Glenwood. The purpose built site, along with the College new RTO status will allow an expansion of the vocations available for its students.

Construction on the site is starting in August.
