Welcome to Anglican Technical College Western Sydney..

..a senior high school just for trades, where students can study Year 11 and 12, get their HSC and start their trade career.

Students work with an employer as an apprentice or trainee in 5-6 week rotations, working as a full-time apprentice, then rotating back to the College for trade training and HSC study or a regular part-time arrangement to suite the employer, e.g. 2 days per week for the full year.

Upon graduation, Year 12 students are awarded an HSC, will have completed the first year of their apprenticeship and then move onto their second year of their trade training.

Anglican Technical College Western Sydney aims to equip students with the skills they need to start a successful trade career.

Now enrolling for 2015 and beyond

The Anglican Technical College Western Sydney is now taking enrolments for 2015 for Year 11 and Year 12 students.  For further information, please contact Gaynor MacKinnon on 02 8008 1300.

Trade Training

Techwest Sydney is our Registered Training Organisation that provides Carpentry and Electrotechnology trade training to our students and to external students on campus, operating independently to the school.

Employers and Industry

We offer trade employers the opportunity to have our students placed with them on “no obligation” work experience trials with a view to these trials then leading to consideration of a school based apprenticeship, for which considerable government incentives apply to qualifying employers.
